Attendance Policy for Children Age 6 – 12

Children age 6 through 12 are free to attend Richmond Shakespeare Festival performances when accompanied by an adult. (Out of respect for other patrons, we request there be one adult per child, should they need to leave the performance for any reason at any time.) All seating is festival seating so, if you plan to bring a child, arrive early as seating is first come first serve.

While we are thrilled you want to introduce your children to Shakespeare, please remember his plays may include supernatural elements, straight-forward politics, and historical and/or religious content. There may also be bawdy language, violence, and certain adult situations. For more information, please contact us at 765-373-9022 or info@richmondshakes.org.
